Government

Project: Denver International Airport

Location: Denver, CO

Description: Utilized 500 ton hydraulic crane to remove bridge deck and girders as part of the new hotel and site improvements.  Bridge remained active to airport traffic during demolition and the demolition means and methods were specifically engineered to minimize disturbance to airport operations.

Industrial

Project: Rocky Mountain Eye Institute at University of Colorado Hospital

Location: Aurora, CO

Description: Selective demolition of roof and building brick façade to enable expansion of medical facility.  Utilized crane to remove stairwell tower without disturbance to active hospital.  Interior demolition was performed using infectious control measures to protect patients and medical staff.

University of Colorado Folsom Field

Location: Boulder, CO

Description: Demolished corner of cast-in-place concrete stadium, steel stadium bleachers, and multiple buildings for new athletic facility.  Recycled 75% of materials to achieve LEED® goals for demolition.

Jacksonville Jaguars Everbank Field

Location: Jacksonville, FL

Description: Structural precast concrete removal in upper deck to create space for new club area with swimming pools. Dismantled existing scoreboard video displays with cranes to meet a tight deadline for the owner to install the world’s biggest video displays for the NFL team’s first home game.

Colorado Rockies Coors Field

Location: Denver, CO

Description: Selective demolition of upper stadium precast concrete to make way for the new rooftop deck.  Utilized a 500 ton hydraulic crane with a smaller support crane positioned on the level 300 deck to finish ahead of a very compressed schedule during the MLB off-season.

Miami Dolphins SunLife Stadium

Location: Miami, FL

Wrecking

Larimer County Fairgrounds

Location: Loveland, CO

Description: Extremely sensitive selective wrecking of a steel-truss event center structure with intent to not damage and save the supporting foundation and perimeter CMU bearing walls. Our crews recycled 95% of the demolished structure and utilized cranes to carefully remove and salvage the large steel trusses.

University of Colorado Darley Commons

Location: Boulder, CO

Description: Asbestos remediation and wrecking of 60 ft. tall concrete and brick university commons building. Very fast paced wrecking, over-excavation, site demo project on the campus of the University of Colorado Boulder.

Englewood High School

Location: Englewood, CO

Description: Multi-year, multi-phase, multi-story high school wrecking project. Extremely sensitive wrecking of 90 ft. span pre-cast double-T pool structure attached to a historic 1900 field house. Environmental remediation and wrecking of 140,000 sq. ft. high school structure.
